CMS have extensive experience in design and delivery of disruptive passenger training for airlines around the world. Passenger complains Our trainers have significant knowledge of the unique environment on board an aircraft where the safety of passengers and crew is paramount.  Delegates will learn the key skills needed to defuse conflict at an early stage and reduce the chances of conflict escalating.  They will also learn a safe and effective method of fully restraining a passenger who presents a danger to the aircraft.

Delivery Options:

Option 1

Full delivery by CMS – One day instructor led delivery

  • In house delivery via “train the trainer” courses
  • One week “train the trainer” course
  • One day in-house instructor led delivery

Option 3

Delivery by CMS & e-learning combi – Half day mix of e-learning & CMS instructor led delivery

Option 4

  • In house delivery via & e-learning & “train the trainer” combi
  • Three day “train the trainer” course
  • Half day mix e-learning & in house instructor led delivery

Air Crew - Disruptive Passenger & Conflict Management

Cost: The cost for the Option 1 CMS  delivery is £495.00 for a group of up to 16 persons, fully inclusive of all training materials & handouts.   Prices for other options depend on a range of circumstances.
Location:  Delivered at any suitable venue of your choice.

Target Group: Cabin crew and flight deck of all grades

Details: This course provides the skills required to deal with all types of disruptive passengers, from low level conflict through to severe disruptive behaviour and life threateneing situations. Designed to operate within the ICAO annex 6 security provisions:

  • International Aviation Law, Local Law & Company Policy
  • Risk Assessment
  • Causes & Triggers of Challenging Behaviour
  • Diffusing & De-escalating Strategies
  • Personal Safety Skills
  • Passenger Restraint Techniques

Air Crew Train the Trainer - Disruptive Passenger & Conflict Management

Duration: 5 days
Cost: £5995.00 for a group of up to 16 persons, fully inclusive of all training materials & FULL COLOUR RESTRAINT MANUAL.

Location: At venues around the UK or on site at any other suitable venue of your choice.

Target Group: Experienced cabin crew & flight deck training instructors

Ground Services - Conflict Management

Duration: 1 day

Cost: £495.00 for a group of up to 16 persons, fully inclusive of all training materials & handouts.

Location: At venues around the UK or on site at any other suitable venue of your choice.

Target Group: Ground Services Staff including Check-in, Ticketing, Passenger Services, Gate Staff, Baggage Services etc

Details: This course provides all the skills required to deal with low level conflict through to severe disruptive behaviour including life threateneing situations. Designed to operate within the ICAO annex 6 security provisions:

Travel Representative - Conflict Management & Personal Safety

Duration: 1 day

Cost: £495.00 for a group of up to 16 persons, fully inclusive of all training materials & handouts.

Location: At venues around the UK or on site at any other suitable venue of your choice.

Target Group: Travel Representatives and Supervisors on Location and at Airports
